time:2024-10-30 16:02:53 Review Insights

 IPv6 is enabled for Openwrt

To enable IPv6 in OpenWrt, you need to set the following settings:

1. Basic Settings: In the LAN port settings, select "Use Built-in IPv6 Management" and "Force Link".

2. Advanced settings: In the WAN port settings, uncheck "Use built-in IPv6 management" and "Forced link", and set "Get IPv6 address" to automatic.

3. DHCP Server Settings: In Server Settings - Advanced Settings, uncheck "Prohibit IPv6 DNS Records Resolution".

4. IPv6 test: Replug the computer network cable or reconnect to WiFi, wait for the computer to get a new IP, and the public IPv6 address should be obtained normally. You can open the IPv6 test website for testing.

It should be noted that the detailed steps for IPv6 setup may vary depending on the version of the router and the network environment.
