Now the competition in the mobile phone industry is very fierce,Recently, Black Shark5 RS is very popular,Sales are still very good after launch,It can be said that it is difficult to find a machine,There are even users who can buy it at a higher price,As a high-end model,Users will inevitably encounter a lot of things they don't understand when using Black Shark5 RS,Including Black Shark5 RS What chip is used,The following editor will solve your doubts!

What processor does the Black Shark 5 RS use? Introduction to the Black Shark 5 RS processor chip

The Black Shark 5 RS uses a Snapdragon 888 processor.

The Snapdragon 888 is made based on Samsung's 5nm process, the CPU uses 1 x 2.84GHz (ARM's latest Cortex X1 core) + 3 x 2.4GHz (Cortex A78) + 4 x 1.8GHz (Cortex A55), the GPU is Adreno 660, uses X60 5G modem baseband, supports WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2.

For Qualcomm's top-of-the-line 8-series chipset, the Snapdragon 888 is the first major improvement to 5G: it will eventually offer a fully integrated 5G modem, unlike the Snapdragon 865, which contains a separate modem chip inside.

The Snapdragon 888 will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon X60 modem, announced earlier in 2020, which uses a 5nm process for better power efficiency and improved spectrum across 5G carrier aggregation, mmWave and sub-6GHz bands. Support global multi-SIM card, support SA standalone, NSA non-standalone and dynamic spectrum sharing. Between the new 5nm architecture and the power efficiency gains that come with the integrated modem, the new chips appear to offer some substantial battery life improvements in 5G.

In addition to the 5G improvements, Qualcomm also teased several other advancements that will be made with the Snapdragon 888, including the sixth-generation AI engine (running on a "redesigned" Qualcomm Hexagon processor) and the second-generation sensing hub, which promises a big jump in performance and power efficiency for AI tasks. The company promises to reach 26 TOPS. In terms of gaming, Qualcomm will launch the third-generation Snapdragon Elite Gaming, which will also bring "the most significant upgrade in Qualcomm Adreno GPU performance", with support for 144fps gaming and desktop-level rendering.

Finally, Qualcomm previewed the new photography features that the Snapdragon 888 will enable, including support for faster gigapixel processing thanks to an updated ISP, where users will be able to take photos and videos at 2.7 billion pixels per second, i.e. capture 120 frames per second and each frame is 12 million pixels, which Qualcomm says is 35% faster than the previous generation in terms of image processing.
